For people dealing with the cold realities of homelessness and housing-related crisis, the holiday season and winter weather can make survival much harder. And with the persistent lack of affordable housing, it can feel like a hopeless, impossible situation.
At TCBC, solutions ARE possible, and hope is always on the horizon.
Each year, our team provides emergency housing solutions for an average of 600 people across hundreds of households. Among them are children, seniors, veterans, and people with disabling conditions. We help them secure emergency and
permanent housing, access basic needs, and get back up on their feet.
Soon we'll be able to do even more.
Our 24-hour emergency men's shelter, set to open in the spring, will have the capacity to provide safe, emergency shelter and supportive services for
as many as 200+ individuals annually while we work with them to establish permanent housing.
