Critical support needed to house Beaver County’s homeless amid COVID-19 outbreak

In our commitment to preventing and ending homelessness in Beaver County, The Cornerstone of Beaver County (TCBC) is working tirelessly to secure housing for the county’s homeless individuals and families amid the COVID-19 outbreak.

We are calling on our entire community to support this effort by making donations to help sustain TCBC’s emergency housing and support services necessary to manage the spread of COVID-19.

People living on the streets are among the most vulnerable as all public safety preventative measures require the very things they likely cannot do: stay at home and practice proper hygiene.

County shelters are stressed, and most out-of-county options are not taking new clients. The struggle for the community’s homeless to access shelter and other basic needs will become much more challenging in the weeks and months ahead.

Our staff is working diligently to ensure the safety of street homeless individuals and our community-at-large by focusing all TCBC resources on these critical services:

  • Rapid Rehousing to secure immediate housing for homeless individuals and families currently living on the streets. Your kind donation will help support this effort.

  • Emergency Support to meet the urgent, critical needs of the county’s homeless, such as but not limited to housing, transportation, food, hygiene, and access to medicine and health care. Your kind donation will help support this effort.

Your donation of any amount will help protect the most vulnerable of our community, and therefore help protect all of our community.

Donations may be made here online OR by check made payable to The Cornerstone of Beaver County and mailed to:
